“Gothic Cathedral and Dance Spectacle”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 11, 2014

Cathedral is typically Gothic design and magnificence. Quiet cloister next door with historic swans adds to the effect. Very large and fairly dark with lots of candles. Saint's tomby under main altar ablaze with light contrasts with the darkness around the sides. Friendly staff insode.

On Sunday locals dance native "two and a half step" on the plaza in front - fun to watch if you can find a place because the crowd -mostly tourists - is very large.

“Tranquil & beautiful”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 11, 2014

We loved this beautiful gothic cathedral. At the time of our visit the choir was singing and this made our visit even more special. In the cloisters there's a beautiful courtyard garden with a fountain, orange trees and, of course, the geese! We sat and listened to the choir for a while and would have stayed much longer if we'd had more time. This is a splendid example of medieval architecture. Don't miss it!

“Beautiful”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 10, 2014

If you are around this area you have to visit this cathedral. It is free. For girls-make sure you are not wearing short skirts or shirts, you will need to cover your legs to get in. And before going there check time of operation because at 12.30 they closed doors for visitors. It is a beautiful place, and if you know the story of Eulalia you really should visit this place.

“Amazing Gothic cathedral, so beautiful, incredible feeling in it and the gardens”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 8, 2014

We could of stayed in this church for hours, there is so much to see and learn, the courtyard is incredible with orange trees and geese. The gees and fountain was also very amusing for the children visiting the church.

“fascinating”

Very interesting history especially the story of Eulalia.
Well worth the visit, there are times when entry is free so check those. Like many of Barcelona's attractions there are lots of people with the same plans.
