Owner description: Casa Mila, popularly known as La Pedrera, is a most unusual building, constructed between 1906 and 1912 by the architect Antoni Gaudí (1852–1926) and declared UNESCO World Heritage in 1984. Today it is the headquarters of Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera and houses a cultural centre that is a reference point in Barcelona for the range of activities it organises and the different spaces for exhibitions and other public uses it contains. A visit to La Pedrera, landmark building and container, gives us a better understanding and appreciation of architecture and transports us to the period when Antoni Gaudí lived.

“Short queue at 6:30”
Reviewed May 6, 2013 via mobile

Visited here at 6:30. Got in fairly quickly and was a great way to spend the end of the day. Took us about an hour to see it all. We don't bother with the audio tour. Cost was 14€ with the barcelona card discount, but was well worth it. A lift takes you to the top floor to get an amazing view. The next floor down is an interesting exhibition of some of Gaudis work. The final floor is the tour round the flat which is stunning.

“Gaudi & spectacular views”
Reviewed May 6, 2013

One of the best places to get a full 360 view of the city, an apartment set up like it would've been back in 1910 plus it's all things Gaudi so if you're a fan or not there's something for everyone!

“Lovely”
Reviewed May 5, 2013

Lovely place , very interesting . We particularly enjoyed the views from the rooftop walking around the chimneys . This was booked as part of a tour through Viator where we skipped the line to gain entry - definitely the way to do it .

“Fantastic Gaudi's work”
Reviewed May 2, 2013

See it to believe it. It's strange & visionary. Amazing to know it's something made almost 100 years ago. Very "space-cy" & "alien-ish". Long queue always if u want going inside.
