Owner description: Casa Mila, popularly known as La Pedrera, is a most unusual building, constructed between 1906 and 1912 by the architect Antoni Gaudí (1852–1926) and declared UNESCO World Heritage in 1984. Today it is the headquarters of Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera and houses a cultural centre that is a reference point in Barcelona for the range of activities it organises and the different spaces for exhibitions and other public uses it contains. A visit to La Pedrera, landmark building and container, gives us a better understanding and appreciation of architecture and transports us to the period when Antoni Gaudí lived.

“A Must Go visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 4, 2013

What can possibly be said about this masterpiece apart of You Got to Go! Fantastical interiors and exteriors...your eyes don't know where to stop. And then there is the roof top!!! If that's what you call this masterpiece of stage design!!!

“Very interesting architecture.”

It's a must do when you're in Barcelona. Interesting architecture, with no square angles!! Certainly a different personality, the one of Gaudí! Worth the visit.

Casa Mila is very unique and interesting piece of art. Defiantly, recommend the visit. The roof top had stunning views of Barcelona on a beautiful sunny and clear day!

“Jaw dropping”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 30, 2013

We were fortunate to arrive here and visit with no crowds so we were able to mooch along and enjoy the views both outside and inside that this attraction has to offer.

I've said in previous reviews that the workings of the mind that was Gaudi to have thought to have designed places like this must have been a quirky place indeed. This is a must see visit on the list of things to go and see in Barcelona.
