Another must-see of Barcelona's Gaudi obsession. Be aware of specific timed-entry tickets when pre-purchasing. Found staff at site to be rather abrupt and less than helpful. The path walk is the most interesting part, other than obvious photo sites.

This park is a must when you visit Barcelona! You need to book the tickets as it is very busy and it’s so beautiful and colorful. Plan your lunch/dinner as there are not a lot of restaurants around.

We left feeling a bit underwhelmed about Parc Guell. Sure, the buildings were unique and special, but I think we expected more of them. The crowds were intense, too, and we had to push our way through to the most scenic spots. Which is understandable considering how popular this place is.

We came here 5/6 years ago & really enjoyed it but this time, we found we couldn't get in on a weekend. So it's vital to book a ticket in advance! A long climb both from the bus tour stops & when you're in the park, most of which is free. Just can't see the house, etc. but lovely views. Loads of hawkers.

Another masterpiece by Gaudi. The park is fun and whimsical and reminds me of a Hobbit village except for the use of so much ceramic tile. The kids will like exploring the many rooms and houses.

It was a long walk up the hill from the metro, but a fascinating place, worth the entry fee to see Gaudi 's bizarre work!

The buildings are interesting to see but park area is so small not sure worth the visit. Pretty crowded since area is small. No room to move in first shop.

Arrived to find you had to book a slot to go into the main part, and had to wait 90 minutes.
Even in November on a Monday it was extremely busy.
We walked to the top (don't need to pay to go around the outer part) and there are lovely views and a few bridges and things to look at. We entered the main bit and if there was no crowd would have completed it in ten minutes. There is a tunnel thing to walk through, a pillared area (currently under maintenance), two buildings (which can be seen from outside) and some stairs. It's quite a way from the city centre and up a steep hill.
Honestly not worth the trip if you are tight for time, there are better sights to spend your time in Barca.

Although the tickets are timed entrance, once inside you can wander as long as you like. My only complaint was the looong line for the ladies room. When you try to use the EMPTY men’s room you get yelled at.

This is definitely one of the ‘must see’ sites of Barcelona. As with so much else here, Gaudi has left his imprint—this time, less as an architect; more as a planner and engineer.

As with La Sagrada Família yesterday, here too I booked a guided tour—this doesn’t add a lot to the cost of the visit, yet it adds immensely to one’s appreciation of the site. The Guide’s English was quite good, and he took time to answer our questions and clarify details.

Highly-recommended—don’t miss!
