I'm not a 'museum person' person but this is a lovely place to visit. There is an enormous volume of material here , but above all it is the wonderful works of art from Picasso's early period right through to his later masterpieces and his great love of photography

Didn’t have to queue longer than
5mins for ticket (went at 3.30pm). Enjoyed the museum but there is a big chunk of his life missing from the exhibition. Which is a shame, could cover anyway perhaps with some reproductions of his work from those years? Have to leave rucksacks in a locker 0.50 euros, returned when collect.

We used our Barcelona cards to get straight in and avoid the lengthy queues. The collection is very fine with his works displayed chronologically. It can get very busy and we kept getting caught up in a big tour group. The building itself is very fine and using it as an art gallery works really well. An essential place to visit.

Had to queue but worth both the time end expense. Provided a wide range on insight into Picasso's life and art from his earlier more traditional drawings leading to his eventual 'modernistic' period. Disappointed that his more popular modern paintings were not on display.

This Artist was prolific, and this museum has an incredible number of his works. Try to choose the time of your visit carefully to avoid the huge number of people lined up to buy tickets.
