Not too big, this museum has Picasso’s works chronologically displayed from his boyhood, through his teens, early adult life and into his late works. It gives a great understanding of his artistic journey and development and all of us were amazed by the difference between his early works and the work for which he is famous. Our kids (11-16) enjoyed it too. It’s a lovely museum which is well laid out with signs in English and Spanish and a great place to stay cool for an hour or too.

The Picasso Museum is impressive and magical, despite the fact that most of his classic works are around the world. Who knew that Picasso also made pottery?! Don’t miss this place or you will end up in a “Blue Period.”

We spent a happy couple of hours here. The museum is not too big and is well laid out with descriptions in English. The paintings from his childhood blew us all away!
Good shop too!

Not many of the more famous pieces. But a really good demonstration of his creative development and the process he went through to get to cubism. Thoroughly recommend.
