This museum is a must for those who enjoy modern art.
A good selection of Picasso's works in a beautiful old building

A museum should put the exhibits in some sort if artistic or social context. Rooms and rooms of random Picasso artworks need more context than a paragraph on the wall in each room. There are undoubtedly some masterworks here, but it's just art. I was quite bored by the end.

This is off Las Ramblas street. It traces Picassos journey decade wise. In less than an hour you will be able to see the entire collection. Very educative. If you can you must catch it.

This place is amazing and gives a great insight into Picasso. I knew very little about him other than a few pictures. His art during his early years is beautiful and so intricate. I loved his work in his early teen years, to have such talent at such a young age is unbelievable. We bought audio guides which I'd highly recommend as it gives you so much more information than just the title on the wall next to each picture. The screen on the audio guides show you pictures showing x-ray images of work such as science and charity. There's so much work to see here. I'm afraid I'm not a fan of his later work but that personal taste and many others will love it. All the streets around are quaint and picturesque. We booked in for 1030 but arrived about 0930 which gave us time to look around.

A fantastic museum. Well designed to show Picasso’s development as an artist and shows just how talented he was. A truly worthwhile outing. If you go order tickets online ahead of time to avoid lines.
