Interesting works and well displayed. Can be hot inside the museum. Shop expensive. Go to this attraction later in the day to cut Dow waiting time in the ques.

As we were in a close by street, we waited to look at the Picasso Museum. This has been set up well with the different rooms as well as the architecture outside. Good place to spend time.

A wonderful experience. The museum is filled with all types of works from Picasso.
I suggest you buy your tickets on line or at your hotel as the line can be very long.

It was good to see quite a lot of Picasso's early work however there are quite large gaps in the collection's chronology. The themed rooms of the pigeon house paintings, the ceramics and the Velasquez 'Las Meninas' tribute were interesting though. The building itself is pleasant to be inside as it must have been an old important house. I did think I would see more of the really famous works though.

I wasn't looking forward to this as only knew a little about Picasso but I really enjoyed it. The early art work was quite incredible and to read about this famous artist was very interesting. Useful to know is that it is free to enter at certain times on a Sunday- see the website.
