Second visit to Barcelona and this is one dining option that should not be missed. Extremely busy and pricey but worth the wait and cost. The seafood was fresh and well prepared, try the mussels cooked over a charcoal grill. Good cold draft beer and wine.

Really interesting market, clean and with lots of Siegerehrung stands. It has a lot of restaurants which offer a great variety of tasty food.

It's a busy place but worth a visit! Too much choice, i got some fruits and were very tasty. The time I was there, some policeman caught a thief stealing a wallet so beware of them!!

The Mercat de Sant Josep la Boqueria is a bustling tourist destination in Barcelona. This public market is a feast for the senses. The array of food displays boast the local flavour the city can offer. So inviting that I couldn’t resist to taste. I highly recommend this place!!

Do not skip this beautiful market. Take a natural juice and start the journey. Colors, smells, tastes, all can be found here along with smiling faces. Go in the morning cause is not so busy.

La Boqueria in Barcelona on Ramblas street is an ultimate experience of warmth & smell of the city , a certain place to visit for all gastronomic lovers . It seems the world of food, spice & drinks have found a place to embrace the food lovers . The fresh food, vegetables, fruits, fish , chocolates, spices are just awesome & mind boggling display & quality. Barcelona Visit cannot be complete with a visit to La Boqueria. This a “wow “ place , a must for any visitor

Yes, it's a very nice & interesting market. BUT BEWARE!! It's also a THIEF'S den. With the huge crowds, this is a favorite hunting ground for the pickpocketers. One of our group members had her phone stolen inside the market.
Just to warn travelers, don't be just taken in by the sights in the market but keep a tight rein on your pockets and belongings.

Enjoyed walking around this market but very crowded and popular with tourists. I think the prices are generally quite high, I bought some nougat but saw the same bar of a bigger size for the same price elsewhere!

A lot for eyes to see, very bright and colourful with lots of options to eat in the market or take some food home. A little overpriced as I paid €8 for couple slices if jamon wrapped in the paper cone

We visited this market on a recent trip to Spain because it had been recommended to us. We just loved walking around and looking at all the food stalls. There was pinchos, seafood, nuts, dried fruit, cheese, meat, fresh fruit, juices gelato and olives just to name a few. Everything looked so fresh and inviting. If you are in La Rambla you must visit this market.
