If you like markets and “feel” all the gastronomic tradition of Barcelona, you must go to the La Boqueria!Located in Las Ramblas, is a labyrinth of stalls where they sell everything, meat, fish, vegetables, fruit ...etc
In La Boqueria you can buy very good quality of cured ham, the famous “Jamón ibérico”!
There has also some taverns where you can sit at counter, drink and eat a variety of very good food.
There is often a bit crowded at mealtimes.

You can't miss it!

“Must visit in Barcelona!”
Reviewed March 24, 2014

Every time I visit Barcelona La Boqueria is always on my way. I can't immagine a day in Barcelona without a walk through this labyrinth of colours and fragrances. If you search a place for a excellent food and affordable prices La Boqueria is the right place!

“Fresh, fresh and more.......”
Reviewed March 24, 2014

Undoubtedly the best market in Barcelona. Fresh fruits, fresh juices and of course many types of ham. Everything looks fresh and then those colors! At the ham stall one can buy small portions of tapas, which one can take along to one of the wine bars on the outside of the market. At these bars they sell excellent wines for € 3 per glass. A place not to be missed.

“Wonderful”

Colourful, vibrant - this is a real 'must' if you are visiting Barcelona. So many different types of food all displayed so beautifully. Taps bars in the middle and round the outside are great - such a fabulous atmosphere.
