This is a must see for all visiting Barcelona! The main street of dining and entertainment in the city. We visited previously in 2010, and a lot has changed since then! There used to be a lot of street performers who lined both sides of the street - however, there are a lot fewer performers now and they only appear in the last section of Las Ramblas, down towards the Port. This is a bit disappointing, however it does mean you can move a lot more easily instead of having to push through crowds of people.
There are lots of shops and street vendors selling lots of souvenirs, and a wide variety of dining options from the traditional tapas restaurants to general fast food outlets. There is something for everyone! Make sure you venture off Las Ramblas to see the small side streets and old squares which are hidden from view.
Top Tip - Keep bags / wallets safe, this is a breeding ground for pick pockets. If you are cautious, there is nothing to worry about!
