“Great pinchos”
Reviewed November 20, 2012 via mobile

Went to see the Sagrada Familia at night, and this restaurant is around the corner. Had tapas, or rather pinchos - small bites on bread - at the bar for 1.40 each. 8 different pinchos were enough for me, though there's an all you can eat option for 15? for big eaters. there is enough choice of fish, like tuna or anchovis, tortilla, hams, cheese, and some fresh served hot pinchos (with eg kind of pizza or cannelloni topping), all nicely decorated. Glass wine cost even less, though the tradition is to have cider with pinchos.

“Good Tapas”
Reviewed November 18, 2012

This is a very nice place for Tapas, in an otherwise very tourist-y area. Our party did the unlimited fixed-price Tapas option and everyone was pleased with the quality and quantity of the food. Unbeatable location right next to Sagrada Familia.

“A tasteful treat!”
Reviewed October 22, 2012

Barcelona is a feast of tapas! We started our day with a visit to Guell Park and then took a taxi to the Sagrada Familla but we found the line-ups were mind blowing; we couldn't face more crowds after the park, so we walked around the church and then found a sandwich board sign for tapas at AITOR. There was an all you can eat option but we opted for a couple of selections from the bar... it was delicious and helped launch us on our way for another few hours of touristing!

“Tapas with a smile”
Reviewed July 25, 2012

A friendly tapas bar. What I especially remember about it was the gulas Donastrian style (baby eels), quite memorable! Also ordered a steak (entrecote de buey), salad and very nice paella. I wanted Rioja by the glass, so the owner opened a bottle especially for me and poured out a glass. I like that attitude! Not much English spoken, but you will get by fine.
