“Very nice stay in Barcelona”
Reviewed July 2, 2012

We stayed two nights with three children and had a wonderful stay. Nice and clean apartment in 5th floor. Very nice view from the living room towards la Sagrada Família. Good air condition.

The breakfast at the roof terrace was worth every cent.:) Very good start of the day,

One drawback. It is a lot of stairs, but the host carried up and down most of our luggage. We used the van service form the airport and that was also very nice. The driver met us at the airport and helped us all of the way to the apartment. Easy start on the holiday.

Thank you so much Judit and Arthur for the wonderful stay in your beautiful apartment. After climbing so many flights of stairs we reached to the most beautiful view imaginable, The Sagrada stares right back at you from the living/dining room window! The apartment was nicely decorated, well maintained and very clean. We enjoyed our complementary bottle of champagne on the roof top patio with the beautiful city view. My 2 sisters, husband and our friend/travel broker stayed here in May and were throughly delighted with the place. We will tell our friends and family about this gem! Thank you again. Ada B.

Room Tip: Be warned there is no elevator in this place. Many flights of stairs may have to be made.

Thank you Arthur & Joana for another amazing stay in Barcelona! Having just returned from my second stay in this lovely flat, I can't wait to visit again! The flat itself is cosy, clean and very comfortable with all the basic amenities you need. The kitchen is well stocked (we've cooked some amazing meals here!); the living room is cute and cozy; the wifi is fast & reliable; the bedrooms are quiet with comfy beds; and the view is breathtaking! One of the best perks of the place is the rooftop where you can admire the incredible cathedral across the street while doing some sun salutations, sipping your morning coffee, sun bathing, enjoying a late dinner or just relaxing after a day of exploring the city. Arthur and Joana are gracious hosts; very helpful and non-intrusive. They have given us some fantastic restaurant recommendations and made a delicious breakfast feast in traditional Catalan style on the rooftop one morning. The location is perfect for exploring the city with easy access to buses, the metro or for walking anywhere. I love this place and will definitely be back for a 3rd, 4th, 5th stay... Thanks Arthur and Joana! xo
Oh - don't mind the stairs. It's great exercise and helps you work off all that amazing iberico jamon and pastries you will eat!

Amazing experience, Arthur , Joana and Co. Thank you for your hospitality while visiting Barcelona. I went with a few girlfriends in 2011 and we just couldn 't say enough good about the stay there. Apartments really beautifully decorated and with the amazing view just makes it a joy to wake up and start planning your day. The team there made it very pleasant with alot of help and advice from where best to go and try the local cuisine to best points on the beach, the maps helped out alot also. Enjoyed the breakfast on the roof terrace and will definately recommend Gaudi's Nest as the best nest in Barcelona. Beautiful city and beautiful people. Thanks,

We (two couples) stayed for 2 nights. Every time I looked out of the window I couldnt believe the view of the Sagrada - picture postcard. The apartment was clean, had everything we needed. Judit and Arthur were very helpful, but not intrusive, especially as my wife had a sprained ankle. If you have to stay in, I can think of no better place. Excellent recommendations for local places to eat. The icing on the cake was a meal on the terrace cooked by a local chef.

The only two slight drawbacks were a lack of a lift and noise in the evening - but as it was mostly from the celebrations in front of the Sagrada just call it atmosphere. We'll be back

We are absolutely delighted with our recent stay in Barcelona and I just wanted to say a huge Thank You to Artur, Joana, Francesco and Judit for their warm welcome and their precious advice during our stay at Gaudi's Nest. The apartment was spotless, cosy and very tastefully arranged, with everything needed. The location was perfect, we never took any transport and visited everything on foot and the view we had was just magnificent. We were enjoying our breakfasts looking at the Sagrada Familia :) The neighbourhood is great, with a pastisseria (bakery) just across the building and lots of fresh fruits and vegetables little shops and a small supermarket nearby. We took up Judit's recommendation for the typical Spanish restaurant Los Bellota and went there for a dinner on Thursday night as it was my husband’s 40th! The food, drinks and service were perfect and we had a lovely evening full of fun and great food and Sangria!
I am also absolutely greateful to Joana who was so kind and prearranged a Catalan birthday cake for my hubby. Ah and also thank you for the lovely bottle of Cava :)
Once again, thank you guys for making us really feel like in a dream!
I am highly recommending this place to anyone visiting Barcelona! You wouldn't be disappointed at all! And we'll definitely go back there next year!
Muchas Gracias and Hasta La Vista :)
Irina & Ruslan

Room Tip: Apartments on higher floors have a better view over the Sagrada Familia.

We (a family of 4) stayed for 5 days and would have done it for 2 weeks with pleasure. Accomodation was great : the place was , clean , well equipped , comfortable and looking better on arrival than it did on the pictures. The hosts ,Artur and Joana are great such as their staff: Judith and Francesc), kind and, no matter the day's hour will try to make you feel at home. The view (from the apartment or the superb terrace ,from where the full barcelona skyline can be appreciated and enjoyed) deserves a chapter on itself , since it cannot be fairly described in words .Absolutely unbelievable both on sunrise ,sunset and night ,offering the host a plus that cannot be purchased with money.
Overall i will highly recommend this appartments for location, cleanliness, view and hosts'attitude
