We came across this lovely bar/restaurant and were so impressed! It is a very small building full of personality, and even has a few outdoor tables if you are lucky enough to find a space, but we enjoyed the atmosphere inside!

They have a lovely selection of tapas, but our favourite menu item were the Tostas, they were so good. The desserts were equally fine, as were the mojitos and the expressos!

A really enjoyable night out!

This restaurant is everything you will be looking for in Barcelona, you must not miss it. The atmosphere, the staff, and the food are all amazing. We got a free tapa as we were waiting for our table outside in the bar. It was worth the wait! Great recommendations from our very kind waiter! A great bottle of wine and 5 tapas for 58 euro is great for the quality of food and and service they produce here. Yum!

La Alcoba Azul was our first stop in Barcelona, which is fitting because it exemplifies what eating in this amazing city is like.

We started with the incredible Pa Amb Tomaquet which is a Catalan tradition and an amazingly simple yet delicious dish, along with a plate of Manchego cheese which has become one of our go-to cheeses since. We ordered what we thought to be a glass of wine for something like 6 Euro but out come a bottle. Welcome to Barcelona indeed!

We both had their toasts - mine the Caesar Salad which was bursting with flavor and my fiance one with Dates & Brie which was equally as delicious. It's a very unique dish which seems very simple but is using very fresh ingredients and cooked so well that you could never replicate it.

Service was fast, friendly, and laidback. The decor inside is very funky and everything was clean and well appropriated. The prices, as with many restaurants here, are surprisingly cheap.

Our only return destination of our time in Barcelona, La Alcoba Azul is a must visit!

Had probably our most memorable meal in Barcelona here.... tucked in the skinny streets of the Gothic Quarter, not sure I could even get back there again without Google Maps (and some patience)... the tapas & toast dishes were truly remarkable... the wine selection (a dark Rioja red) was the perfect match... the ambiance matched our honeymoon feel... cute, candles, & a special bar... enjoy!

Great little bar in a quiet area of town. We enjoyed the best mojitos and good vino tinto. Food looks good, people were waiting for tables.
