We visitied this bar on a recommendation and it was probably one of our favourite places in Bareclona. Hidden away in the Gothic quarter, it is a real traditional little gem.
The tapas menu was both unusual and extensive and offered a refreshing chnage to the standard Brit friendly menus that dominate restaurants on the main srips. We went for a smoked aubergine and tahini mix on rye bread, which they gave us with a complimentary serving of soft blue cheese on toast, which was amazing.
The atmosphere was perfect - not too busy or loud, with friendly staff who were pleased to have you there. The music also added to the experience with old school jazz echoing round the tiny bar.
A must see!
