We visitied this bar on a recommendation and it was probably one of our favourite places in Bareclona. Hidden away in the Gothic quarter, it is a real traditional little gem.

The tapas menu was both unusual and extensive and offered a refreshing chnage to the standard Brit friendly menus that dominate restaurants on the main srips. We went for a smoked aubergine and tahini mix on rye bread, which they gave us with a complimentary serving of soft blue cheese on toast, which was amazing.

The atmosphere was perfect - not too busy or loud, with friendly staff who were pleased to have you there. The music also added to the experience with old school jazz echoing round the tiny bar.

A must see!

We kept coming back to this cosy Tapas bar for the great food, wine and fantastic atmosphere. The staff were very friendly even when the place was full of people. Highly Recommended and worth the wait for a table if they are a little busy.

Strolling around BCN's tiny old streets we stumbled upon this place. Great location for a simple meal - away from the noise and crowds but in the middle of everything in this alley. Service was amazing, food good and ambiance great.

It has a very charming environment, pretty much like small andalusian traditional tapas bar combined with a young urban style. Food was delicious (sangria is good but overpriced).

We discovered this bar/restaurant when wandering round the Barri Gotic when we first arrived nine months ago. We now go back regularly for their fantastic gin & tonics, good wines and amazing atmosphere! The staff are all lovely, the tapas different and excellent and they have fantastic jazz playing. Don't go here if you're looking for fresh seafood tapas as they don't do it, but their salads and tostas tapas are great.
