It was a random choice, but the best during our visit to Barcelona. Tapas and house wine were both delicious. Basil-tomato bread and omelette with ham and cheese I liked the best. Besides the perfect meal, the service was quick and friendly.

Nestled away in the depths of the gothic quarter, this is a little gem. It feels like a discovery when you first walk in, with friendly staff, good food and nice drinks. The Buenaventura vista social club was playing in the background when we arrived, and it has the relaxed, unaffected vibe of a subterranean Cuban cellar bar. I can imagine hemmingway passing his time here. Good tapas too, as well as some lovely salads with Iberian ham, salmon and raspberry dressing! Mohitos, wine and beer all available at good price. Enjoy!

It's a nice little bar with a pleasant terrace in the gotic quarter of Barcelona. But when we entered the place, it smelled awfull (a mix between a wet dog and old cheese), so we headed for the terrace wich was pleasant and calm.
They make wonderfull gin&tonic, following a long 'procedure' with lemon zest, juniper-berries, nicely chilled big glasses, and the brand of gin and tonic you prefer.

This felt like a pub from the 1500's. Yes its small maybe 3 meters across but 30 meters long but who cares. Not a place for a date but if your walking the area and want to a bite and drink in a old old old building this is it.

Loved this place. Small, charming, comfortable, excellent service with a smile, great house red, lovely tapas enjoyed the finding in the gothic district. Loved the goats cheese stuffed red pepper, sardines with home made tomato sauce and lovely rockets salad and pickled muscles. Inside is oldworld with beautiful archaic stone walls and antiquarian decoration. Couldn't help but go back a second time.
