I've been here twice and the food and service is pretty consistent. One good thing about L'Arros is that they allow you to have paella--very rich and creamy by the way--for 1. In most other places, you must order paella for two. The staff is friendly. On my first visit in 2009, the waiter escorted me downstairs to say hello to the chefs. On both occasions, we were given free Cava which waspretty nice.

What I truly love about this place however, is their chocolate dessert. It's called "La Bomba." Super rich and chocolaty! You have to try it!

For me it's the 3rd time in this restaurant and its paellas are stil one of the best in BCN. Good and friendly service, adequate selection of wines and lots of choice even for those who do not lile rice. if you are in BCN you must visit this place.

We had two dinner specials with different paellas and an a la carte paella. I definitely suggest the dinner specials, if only because the a la carte paella (19 euro) was the same size as the dinner paellas. With the dinner special (15 euro) you got an appetizer and a dessert, plus a main dish. So the dinner special is a much better value.

The paella was fine, but we have had better paella elsewhere. The rice was slightly dry and the amount of other fillings (fish, seafood, vegis, etc.) was a bit slim.

The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. We sat inside, but in slightly warmer weather it would be very nice to sit outside.

I wasn't good idea to come to this restaurant, we ordered 3 paellas and all had undercooked rice(((( the price for each was 18-19 euros which is quiet expensive. Service wasn't bad, but general impression is unsatisfied.
