We arranged an 11:00 am Gaudi Tour. Our plane landed 9:00am and we were able to drop our bags off at the hotel and run through the windy streets in the Gothic Quarter to make it on time. So very thrilled that we did! Miguel was terrific, very knowledgable with such a pleasant demeanor. Tour was informative and interesting. It was a terrific way to also get acquainted with the city especially since we just arrived. We needed to take the metro for some of the sights and Miguel was so wonderful helping us all learn the system.
Because we were so pleased with the Gaudi tour we signed on for the Old City tour the next day. Laura our guide was wonderful, knowledgable and enthusiastic. Lots of history and amazing architecture. Again, we learned a great deal in a fun and friendly atmosphere. We stumbled upon some people folk dancing (Sardana) by the Cathedral which was so very charming.
Tours are free and you pay at the end based on what you feel it was worth. Super idea! Do it, you won't be disappointed!More
