I can't say enough good things about this hotel. Comfortable, rooms are decorated in a minimalist way but with all you need. Staff couldn't be more friendly, giving us instructions on how to get to this place or this other one. Location is brilliant to, 400 yards from the Plaza de Sants subway station anda five minute walk from the huge Barcelona Sants train station where you get the train to the airport. Free and fast internet connection. And all that for 50 euro a night. You just can't beat that.

It is new modern hotel. Rooms are not huge, but still comfortable and well equipped. I liked minimalistic design.
Stuff is really welcoming, helpful and efficient.
The only problem is location. It is not the best place - pretty far from main tourist sights.
Also there is a little issue about room with terrace. Terrace is on the ground floor. Considering the fact that around there are only walls of surrounding buildings it is not a terrace in its common sence. It's like sitting on bottom of the pit. So there is no need to pay more for room with terrace, it does not worth it.

Live & Dream was a great place to stay in Barcelona. Things didn't start off well, as we arrived after dark and couldn't find the hotel using Google maps. Luckily, Marta saved us by walking down to meet us at the station. That says a lot about the level of service at Live & Dream. The rooms are pretty basic, but clean, well designed, and good value for money.

We found all the ladies there to be very friendly and helpful, and even taught me some Spanish so I could ask for return tickets to Tarragona. It's a very safe neighborhood, and the little shops, bakeries, and market we found everyone was really nice, and quite chilled. There is a wonderful Lebanese restaurant that we ate at called Fenicia, I would recommend going there for an evening meal. Marta also recommended the tapas place on the corner, but we didn't get a chance to try that (she said they serve big portions, and it was always crowded with locals).

The hotel is less than 5 minute walk from the metro station, but far enough away to be quiet. There were construction works going on, but it wasn't that bothersome, only woke us up one morning. Sants station was maybe a 10 minute walk, where you can catch a train to the airport or to other places in Spain.

We really enjoyed our stay there, and will book a room there again next time we go!

Very nice and modern hotel, cosy and almost new. The room is enough to accommodate 2 people and 2-3 luggage bags. It is cramped for sure but everything is almost new makes it for it. Not easy to find initially as it is on a small street. But use the google map which can help a lot. Once you know the way, you will realise that this hotel is actually very near the metro station (Placa de sants which is 1 stop away from Sants Estacio).

There are 2 supermarkets nearby (one of which is Consum which is average size but very clean). Free wi-fi is very handy and you can get it in the comfort of your own room too. Many shops are also within walking distance from the hotel.

Service at the counter is good. The reception girl was very polite and even helped us to print the boarding passes.

A cosy and nice boutique hotel. I would recommend it.
