We toured with Jordan, and he made Barcelona the most dynamic city on our self designed tour. HIs intelligent, articulate delivery on subjects he or we chose was both informative and delightful. What he taught us in a few hours lasted several days, as we ate at restaurants he suggested and followed his recommendations to the Miro museum and other venues around the town. We are healthy boomers and walked a long way, but took the subway to widen the range of attractions seen. The tour was a wonderful experience and will add to your appreciation and enjoyment of the city. HIs group offers many differnt types of tours, but we took the rookie walking tour and couldn't have enjoyed it more.

After a few other cities and guides through Spain, Jordan was the best. He is a vibrant, upbeat young man reflecting a vibrant, upbeat city. It was further evident from the many people smiling, waving and or calling out to him that he is well known and well respected in his industry. While we wish no ill on his family, we would adopt Jordan in a minute, if 30 somethings needed adoption.

What a fantastic experience!

We met our guide on a slightly soggy morning in central Barcelona and began our journey. The route was well planned with frequent points of interest to see and learn about along the way to the main attractions.

We took a unique walk through the city, occasionally diverting us through a sidestreet, a deserted square- even right through a restaurant in order to see things that we would never have witnessed by taking a standard tour.

At one point, we made our way to the top of a hotel for a fantastic view of the city. Our guide was known to many of the locals and it was this kind of familiarity with the city, the culture and its inhabitants that allowed us to hear stories and learn about the architecture to a level that would never be afforded to us by taking a guided group tour.

Our tour began with a look at the 'Modernist' area of the city. As well as learning much about the artists and architecture, we were also given lots of backstory and extra information that really helped give a human perspective and bring the facts to life.

We were given various options for lunch and eventually settled on a small, family-run place that offered simple food in a friendly atmosphere. Our guide was obviously a regular as we were all treated like family when we arrived. In fact it felt much more like a home-cooked meal than a restaurant.

After lunch we headed to the Gothic Quarter where, once again, we were filled with stories and facts about the various sights. Jordan really knows his stuff!!

As there were just two of us in our group, we moved pretty briskly through the streets probably seeing double the amount of attractions that we would've expected. Along the way we were also given lots of information on other places of interest worth seeing during our stay and precise directions on how to find them. Our guide carefully marked places of interest on our map as we went along.

We stopped off for chocolate and churro in the afternoon and during our little rest-stops we discussed together the points of interest we specifically wanted to see.

Before taking us back to our starting point, Jordan offered additional information on what to see, what to avoid and gave us his telephone number in case we wanted to get in touch at any time. He also provided us with a few restaurant reccomendations (which we used - and thoroughly enjoyed).

All in all this was exactly what i expected after reading the website - a unique, well considered and thoroughly entertaining guide through the city bu someone who is passionate about the subject.

I would strongly recommend this to anyone who likes to come to a new place and learn about its culture....but wear comfortable shoes.

I have been lucky enough to travel to many places around the globe and every destination has such a unique history and many things that just can’t be missed. This of course is true in Barcelona and maybe even more so than other places. You can literally be standing next to an incredible piece of history and not even know it. When we met Jordan Susselman with, “Hi. This is Barcelona” I fully expected to have a very good tour, similar to what I have experience in the past. The time spent with Jordan was incredible; his knowledge of the area is second to none. Jordan was prompt and extremely professional and had no problems taking the time to answer all of our questions. He makes you feel very important and he shows you everything you need to see and more. I have recommended Jordan and his team to my friends and family and will continue to do so. Thanks Jordan for an amazing adventure we will never forget!

After spending the whole day with Jordan "Hi This is Barcelona" I have no doubt that he is
the City's best ambassador! HIs enthusiasm is contageous, his knowledge of the area, its history, attractions and places to see is top notch and, perhaps most importantly, he listened to what we wanted to see and do with our limited time in Barcelona. We were a group of 6 ladies, varied backgrounds, eager to drink in all Barcelona could show us.
Jordan put together a 1/2 day of sightseeing via van, and then another 1/2 day of sightseeing by foot. He included a wonderful tapas stop along the way, helped us order the local color food and also had great suggestions for what we could do on our own the following day. Highly recommended. Just a neat young man who has found his calling and is so willing to share his experiences with his "guests". He reminded me so of my own 25-30 year old sons. We had lots of fun. It seemed more we were getting the tour from one of our own kids or kids friends.

So glad I booked this tour. It was a great way to see a Barcelona we would have missed. Joan was fantastic, very knowledgable and passionate about his city. He gave us pointers that enabled the rest of our stay to be really enjoyable, I felt well looked after from the moment I made my first enquiry. I would recommend this company to anyone.
