We've seen the usual spots in Barcelona on previous trips but we wanted another dimension so we booked a tapas tour with "HTiB", specifying that we wanted to do that in the Gothic Quarter and waterfront area. Our guide, Cristina, a personable young woman with an impressive depth and breadth of knowledge of the city, region and virtually anything else we cared to discuss, took us to three tapas bars in the GQ and Barceloneta, each with a different focus. Any one of them would have been hard to find, but with our beginner Spanish, we'd have been reluctant to enter, even had we found them. At each we enjoyed an engaging selection of tapas accompanied by cider, sangria and wine (excellent sangria, too, rather than the watery muck that we tourists are normally fobbed off with). All of this was tailored to our tastes, as elicited by Cristina who at the same time was pouring out history, local stories and recommendations for later explorations.

Speaking of later explorations, Jordan set up dinner reservations for two other nights, both at places we'd have found no other way, and both of which delivered memorable food and wine (Montiel and Dolso, a restaurant that bills itself primarily as a dessert place, but served the best duck confit I have ever eaten).

A tour like this doesn't _look_ cheap, but when you factor in the food and drink you get plus the guide's time, it's very reasonable. And short of having friends in Barcelona, we had an experience we couldn't have any other way.

I had 2 days to play in Barcelona and started it with a one-on-one walking tour with Teresa. Best decision I've ever made on a trip. She was extremely knowledgable about the city's attractions, design and history. She wonderfully patient while I asked questions and took pictures. I never would have learned as much about the city on my own in the short amount of time that I had. Jordan made scheduling and payment easy. The entire experience was wonderful.

My wife and I made our first trip to Spain this past June. Jordan provided us with guides in Madrid and Barcelona. They were the nicest people you could meet and were more than willing to alter their plans to show us what we were most interested in.
We took side trips to Segovia & Girona and the guides provided were also totally knowlegeable about those cities.
For us it was a truly memorable time and we have recomended them to all of friends.

We were in Barcelona for a couple of days recently prior to a cruise. Someone recommended "Hi. This is Barcelona" (HTiB) for a full day tour. It was perfect! We had a large group (seven couples), so we had a dedicated tour guide and our own (very comfortable) bus. We toured by bus all morning, stopped at a wonderful little tapas place (that we never would have discovered on our own) for lunch, then a leisurely and informative stroll through the old town ("Gothic Quarter") all afternoon. Our guide, Teresa, was wonderful. She made sure we were seeing what we wanted to see, and was just delightful. The owner, Jordan, set everything up for us before we ever left the U.S. so contacting them in advance is a good idea.

If you're going to visit Barcelona, I highly recommend these folks.
