We also specialize in customized family tours, private touring and small group events. We use comfortable touring vans and our staff are fun, experienced local guides with a deep love and knowledge of the regional history and culture. We booked Spanish Trails for two days. The first being a tour of the city and the second a food tour during the day.

I will start with the food tour because it was a great experience walking the city, learning history and eating/drinking our way through Barcelona. Our guide Danny was fantastic and he took us places we would never have gone on our own. We had our three boys with us and with Danny's guidance they tried everything along the way. Many of the items we never had before and would not have ordered on our own. It was all delicious. The markeplace you vist is amazing as well. I highly recommend you spend three or four hours taking this food tour. You will not be dissapointed.

Our tour of Barcelona began with a driver for the first part of the day then we finished on foot. We visited the a park overseeing the city, the olympic stadium, Gaudi's famous homes and Park Güell and the basillica he desinged which is still beign built to this day (and many more to come). Our guide was fantastice adn took as to a very cool tapas bar for lunch.

Spanish Trails does it right!

I took a tour to Monseratt and Penedes with Spanish Trails. I jumped on this tour the day before- calling the office for a last minute addition to their tour. Danny spoke perfect English and helped me to schedule my tour the following morning. I met Alex in the morning for the tour and he was SO fun, so knowledgable and so professional. I had so much fun on my tour and hands down will recommend this tour company to all my friends. Thank you for a great time!!

We booked a wine and tapas tour on a recent trip to Barcelona. Everything from the booking to finding the meeting place was seamless. We had read the reviews on Trip Advisor so we had high expectations. This tour exceeded anything we could have hoped for. The food and wines were exceptional and our guide, Andrew, was outstanding! We can't say enough about how fabulous this tour was and we have already recommended it to friends. In fact, we will most likely do it again when we return to Barcelona! The evening we spent enjoying tapas, trying new wines, and learning a bit about the history of Barcelona was the highlight of our trip!

An excellent tour, highly recommended. Dan, our guide, was friendly and knowledgeable. He was informative and amusing, and able to present the details in a wider historical and modern context. We learned a lot about Dali and Spain. He welcomed questions and was never stumped for an answer. Most importantly he was concerned that we should enjoy the experience and always left room for us explore for ourselves and not just be his captive audience. He was also very patient and never once complained as I constantly lagged behind to take one more photo. The transport and meal provided were first class. Overall a great day out, both the Dali museum and Girona are must sees, and an experienced guide like Dan will add to the enjoyment. Thanks for a great tour Dan and for your kindness in returning the bag of souvenirs my wife left behind.

We planned to arrive in Barcelona for a cruise 3 days early, one day for jet lag, one to do the hop on-hop off bus tour of the city and one for a Dali Tour. My wife was chatting with other cruisers that expressed interest in the tour. One of them suggested Spanish Trails and made the arrangement. We couldn't have been more pleased.

Andrew, our guide from Spanish Trails, was exemplary in both his driving and knowledge. He had an ability to make the drive from Barcelona pass quickly with engaging stories and conversation. Before you knew it we were at Port Lligat!

When it came time to be a tour guide, Andrew continued to captivate. His knowledge of Dali was refreshing as he knew details of his personal life, artistic life and the area of Spain were Dali lived. We really enjoyed this.

A bonus for us was the city of Girona. The beautiful 'old city' with old Roman roads and the Plaça Sant Feliu. Here again Andrew shined.

I can't give enough praise to Spanish Trail and especially Andrew! Thanks for a wonderful tour!
