“First class restaurant”
Reviewed January 27, 2013

Great location in the center of Barcelona not far from la Rambla. The set winter menu was superb at 15Euros for a three course meal. Service was fast and spot for an up market restaurant, Food hot and delicious with plenty of choice. Very nice atmosphere inside.

“Hard to divinus what you are eating”
Reviewed January 26, 2013

If you just want to sit and have a drink on this famous designer shopping street,Passeig de Gracia, it's okay, and the prices are good. But don't expect a bowl of nuts or chips. If you order food, it is incredibly bad. One particular, the paella rice has been cooked to a spreadable consistency and is also tasteless. The waiters can't improvise, and serve the pre-pre-prepared foods as they come (from where is not clear, but certainly not from an on-site kitchen). Too bad.

“Service was good but not so sure about the food...”
Reviewed December 27, 2012 via mobile

After our wonderful experience in dining in the Gracia neighbourhood...our first impression when we walked into this restaurant was very touristy - nothing wrong with it since the location is great and the restaurant looks chic...but the food was a huge disappointment - we ordered the garlic prawns for starter; the sauce was good but the prawns weren't not FRESH at all - the prawns tasted so bad itself...

Same for the seafood paella (compared with the paella around the beach front, i would give this 1 star out of 10) and the margarita pizza, it smells like the pizza had been there for days...

It's a shame because the service staff were very nice..it might be because the local markets were closed during bank holidays and the kitchen staff are off for Christmas...?

We will probably choose somewhere other than Barcelona / Spain for Christmas next year coz there are really not much options left when most of the shops and restaurants are closed for the holidays.
