After a week in Spain and a few days in Barcelona, I was in need of a change of palette pace (ham and arroz is great for 5 days). Alas it was thanksgiving, so as an ugly American was looking for turkey and stuffing. Which is why we ended up at dostrece - they promoted an american turkey day. That said, I'm muy allergico a las nueces, which I told our very cool and accomdating waiter, he researched and said that there may be some nuts in the prixe fix t-day menu. Which was a blessing in disguise. We ordered off the regular menu and had an unreal esalada de casa with 8 (8!) complements that were all amazing - tzaiki sauce, hummus, fried cauliflower, mushrooms, eggplant with queso, guac - all delicious, and an amazing mix. Pulpo carpaccio? Classic Spain in a whole new way that was the best octopus I had all week. Cool spot, cool and accommodating staff (with a sprinkle of hipster) and the best meal I had in Spain, all under 50 euros. Ps, around the corner from MACBA which also rules, if that's your sort of thing. Would def recommend over and over again.
