The menu was adequate for choice but found the portions a little too "artistic" for our tastes. An adventurous chef who obviously takes pride in presentation which was superb but a little pricey. Avoid the rabbity....only got for ribs and there's not much meat on a rabbit!!!!

I had high expectations of this restaurant and was looking forward to enjoying a nice dinner here due to their reputation and location. Unfortunately, my experience was ruined environment (drunk man bathing in the fountain and his buddy playing rock and roll with his guitar) and the food didn´t live up to my expectations.
Environment: We decided on terrace seating since the weather was nice and the location is amazing, a second later, the local transient came up to our table to ask for a smoke. The staff did nothing to ensure that their patrones were not being bothered by this person.

The food: We decided on their seasonal dinner menu which included an appetizer, soup, fish, meat, and two desserts.
Our appetizer was very unique and it was well presented. Oil, season salt and bread when combined it was suppose to taste like fried egg and it did! Also, very small popcorn type pork rhines and corn. and a vile filled with cherry tomato cold soup (gazpacho type). It was all around, ok. the flavors were new and not as comforting but pleasant.
our soup: Beet Root Gazpacho. Again, new flavor, if you´re not a fan of beet root then don´t order this. I enjoyed it but needed salt.
Fish: a bacalao very tender but TOO salty. with a very small scoop of couscous. couscous was good but if it had been a bigger scoop it wouldnt have been so good ( a bit over cooked). it was the perfect amount to taste and be happy. personally, I´ve had better.
Meat: duck with mushrooms. The duck was tough. Not at all pleasant eating experience. Mushrooms were very flavorful.
Dessert: yogurt with berries. the yogurt was pleasant but unfortunately the berries were sour, they should have been sweeter, at least for me.
2nd Dessert: chocolate brownie with an apple sauce, peanut butter sauce and ice cream. I was hoping for this to wrap up my mediocre experience but it killed it. The brownie was chewy, the sauces were less than average. I´ve had better at home.
Sprinkle this mediocre dinner with local transients: annoying
Next time (not sure if i´ll ever go back): sit inside and order off the menu this may yield a better experience.

Although a tasting menu is available off the standard menu at dinner time, Neri offers a seasonal tasting menu as well. It was extremely well done and a very good value for the quality and level of the preparation for the price. If your a foodie and in the area, it is definitely worth a try.

The restaurant belongs to the hotel and has a very elegant interior with more casual seating outside in the square. We sat outside for lunch on one day and for dinner on another. The lunch menu is particularly good value at 22€. It consists of three small starters on the same plate, followed by a choice of three mains. Dinner is more expensive although there is a fixed price available there as well. The chef makes an attempt to serve local food with a modern twist, and we enjoyed everything that we ate. Service was knowledgeable and friendly. The wine list is short and relatively expensive by Barcelona standards. We would have eaten inside for dinner, but the air conditioning was on too high and it was very cool. Overall, 5/5 at lunch and 4/5 at dinner.

I stored here and loved the atmosphere because it is located at a small, quiet square.you don't here anything from the city, just birds singing:) so that was lovely.

But I was so shocked as I got the bill. 4 euros for a small flaws of coke light!!!!!

And nearly 4 euros for a small cup of coffee con leche!!!

and a slow (nearly no) service at all...

Sorry, but what is THAT???
