Description: Osmosis is in the heart of Barcelona Ensanche district. Contemporary seasonal Catalan cuisine is offered in a minimalist but relaxed environment. The main menu features just three starters, three fish dishes, three meat dishes and three desserts, to which they add weekly specials. Diners can opt for the set menu at 25 Euros or the tasting menu for 38 Euros. The restaurant makes great show of its long wine list featuring over 100 wines. Groups between 6 and 12 people can reserve the private dining rooms, while the restaurant offers personalised menus for groups over 20.

Six of us Trinbagonians visited this restaurant while in Barcelona before embarking on a culinary cruise. Although we had a wonderful trip and yummed up many delicious meals, this one stands out as excellent and among the best. The pairings with local wines was especially great and staff really informative.

The food was also tasty and beautifully presented. The home baked bread with a choice of salts for the butter was new to us and really divine.

A must for any food and wine lovers visiting Barcelona.

Dinning at Osmosis was truly a beautiful experience. The service was extremely attentive and friendly and we were recommended great wine from the region. We took the degustation meal which was really cheap for the food served.

I don't eat fish/seafood so i tried and it was DELICIOUS, worth the experience. I think they easily deserve a Michelin star.

We had a nice evening here – the food was mostly fantastic. They are excellent at replacing their lovely homemade bread throughout the meal, which is accompanied with 3 different types of salt and 2 different types of olive oil. It’s such a lovely concept that there is just one set menu and everyone is experiencing and eating the same food. The restaurant is absolutely tiny and very intimate so I would definitely recommend booking. A couple of the courses were not to our liking – the Octopus in particular was really quite chewy but this may be normal –it’s not something we eat very much! We felt quite pressured/uncomfortable when we didn’t want to order the wine which accompanied each course, and we also found it strange that drinks were taken away from our table when there was still a good half an inch or so left in the bottom! Having said that we did have a very enjoyable meal but not sure if we’d return because there are so many other restaurants to try!

I dined as part of a group of business associates in town for a conference. We had a private, tastefully decorated room upstairs with seating for 10 people. Everyone had the same menu with multiple courses and the restaurant was able to accommodate one of the members of our group who is a vegetarian. All the food was outstanding and the portions were quite generous for a tasting menu. I could not finish the lamb course because I was too full, but I did manage to eat BOTH of the desserts we were served. There were a few 'foodies' in our group and they seemed pleased. The wine we had with dinner was excellent as well.

I cannot comment on how this restaurant would be dining as a couple or small group, but I would highly recommend it for a memorable, larger group dinner in one of the private upstairs rooms. The bill came to approximately EUR 100 per person with wine.

We reserved table for four on this afternoon lunch. The tasting menu was nice and we're really impressed on every serving. Now the tasting lunch menu is ?29 each person (5course) without drink.
