We chose to eat here on our recent trip to Barcelona after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor We were not disappointed. We ate at lunch time and had the five course tasting menu. It was a very good experience , our waiter took the time to explain each course at the beginning of our meal and he was very knowledgeable. Each of the courses were delicious I apologies for not leaving a tip, we thought it was included in the bill but it wasn't . Overall a lovely experience

We had an excellent birthday celebration dinner at this restaurant.

Great set menu and good choice of wine - well worth the money.

After all the reviews on TA and articles on foodblogs we went to this restaurant.

We went for the tasingmenu and also the winetasting menu.

The food was nice (especially the foie dish!) but the main problem here was the service.
One waiter was amazing. He was able to tell us a lot of intresting facts about the wine and clearly had a lot of knowledge of the menu.
The waitress probably didn´´t had her day. She was not so polite, forgot a lot of orders and was coming every single 5-10 minutes to our table laughing/saying: hahaha yeah we are a little bit late with your dish I´m sorry...

Overall I felt this was not worth the 190 Euros. Especially due to the service I won´t be coming back.

My wife, who is French and used to fine cuisine, described the 7 course taster menu as the best meal she had ever had. Dishes you would never order, but that is the whole purpose of the experience to try new and amazing dishes. Would thoroughly recommend a trip here

We made a late dinner reservation (10pm). There's about 5-6 tables downstairs, most were full when we arrived with people at the end of their dinners. Upstairs there were another 5-6 tables full of people. After being seated, we were offered a pre-dinner drink and I had some beer and my wife had some Cava, along with some olives. The green olives from Sicily (marinated in house) were probably the best olives I've ever had, very creamy and not bitter/briny).

There's a single tasting menu offered. The wine list is extensive and is in a large book. We had no idea what wine to pick, and our waiter had offered to choose a wine for us if we couldn't decide. We had him pick one in the 30-40 euro range, and he picked a great one that was just under 30 euro.

The service was very attentive, and food was great. We started with some carmelized foie with vanilla that was great. Next was a cold soup (garlic cream) with melon & cuttlefish. The melon went very well with the soup, and the cuttlefish (and ink) was great. Very good soup! Next was a rissotto with beets, fried egg, and runny yolk that was very good (if you like beets). The runny yolk really added a lot to the dish.

The fish dish was just okay, and was a bit strong for our taste. If you like stronger tasting fish, this would be good. The fish was brought out in raw sashimi-style strips and lightly cooked by pouring hot broth over it. The meat dish was an oxtail stuffed with goat cheese that was AMAZGING. It fell apart when cut into, and had so much flavor! The sweet potato with it went very well.

Dessert was also great, the peaches were one of the best desserts I've had in Barcelona. The chocolate dish was also very good, but I'm not a big fan of chocolate.

The service seemed to slow a bit at the end (during dessert), as it was around 12:15am on a Saturday night and you could tell the staff was ready to go home. After we were finished, we still were greeted by our waiter who walked us to the door and outside.

A great dinner, and very reasonably priced. It was 48 euros per person with a bottle of red wine for just under 30 euro. We had a bottle of still water which they did not charge us for, which we were surprised to see when we got the bill. Total bill was 130 euro for 2 people (which included the pre-dinner drinks and a glass of a sweet sauterne-like wine with the foie).

I'd definitely recommend for a nice dinner out, but would probably choose a time earlier than 10:00pm.
