We found Mauri to be a great alternative to our hotel
breakfast, which was overpriced and lacking in selection.
The business has been open since 1929 and has a lot
of old world charm and character reminiscent of Parisian
Mauri offers small sandwiches and very good bakery goods.
You order from the counter, they put your selection on a
plate and you bring it to your table with a plastic card
that tracks your purchase.
At the table, a server takes your drink order and adds it
to your card.
When done, simply bring the card to the cashier.
Our bill was accurate all 3 times we ate there.
We had 2 croissants, 2 cupcakes, coffee, water and one of
their salmon sandwiches for about $14 euros.
Our hotel breakfast was $44 euros and was not nearly as good.
You can eat indoors or outside.
This place is worth a look.
