This restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast, croissants and coffee were very good, but the service was arrogant and rude. Lunch was nice and the waiter was attentive. Absolutely beautiful pastries in the French style and enticing chocolates.

I just spent the most wonderful hour in this Patisserie.
I have an addiction to cake and I asked the taxi driver for the best cake shop in Barcelona and he took us here....he was right!!!

The shop is quite oldie-worldie..(reminded me of Betty's in Harrogate)...the staff are well presented and when you walk in the aroma is just wonderful.
You are presented with an array of the most fabulous cakes and even a selection of mini cakes if you want to try different ones.

I had a couple of cakes and a very good Cappuccino...not cheap but well worth every cent.

The tempura veggies were good, the rest of our tapas was so so. We ordered a tinto de verano which is a local favorite of red wine and lemon soda. Not very good. We asked for recommendations because the whole menu looked good. Our waiter decided to recommend the entire menu in his own order. He also tended to disappear when we needed to place an order, ask for a refill or pay our bill. We ate outside, but it seemed the service inside the restaurant was hustling and bustling, but from our perspective, we had higher hopes that were not met.

This is one of the most known pastry shops in barcelona, its located in the centre and has both in- and outdoor seating. The food is good, but we have only tried their sandwiches and pastries, how difficult can it be to make a good sandwich .. The prices are very high but that's normal for a place with a big name. But the service on the terrasse and when ordering the sandwiches inside was terrible. The waiters inside seemed nice though. If you still want to go then foodwise we can recommend the tortilla de patatas sandwich, roast beef sandwich, lomo sandwich, and the almond croissants.

Sat outside. Ordered Paella thinking was 17 euro per plate and it turns out its 17 euro per person. It wouldn't be so bad if only it was edible and if the server was not so rude. Paid total if 70 euro for horrible food and more horrible service.
