Full of locals there for lunch, pizza was delicious, cooked in wood fired oven, no idea why other reviewers slated it. Kids shared one and we had menu del dia so could get starter and pizza plus desert. Would have gone back but so many other places to try. Can walk off long lunch in the park afterwards

We had a quick lunch here - a delicious fungi pizza (thin but not brittle) and a lovely fantasia salad. Would recommend.

Skip the salads (Casandrinella, Cesarona): very poor, mostly leaves
Pizza: soggy and bland
Risotto (Funghi): good
Chicken brocheta: mediocre, dry
Spaghetti carbonara: average
Dessert & coffee: we left

Service: slow, rude and careless

We book a table for 7, and they got one for 4 only. Two bottles of water never came. Asked for a plate, still waiting. The seconds took over half an hour to arrive.


Overall experience: a bit of a let down. We won't ever come back and we do not recommend it to anyone.

The restaurant is one of our favourite in Barcelona. The service is really good and friendly. The food is really good althought the plates are quite traditional. The neighbourhood is nice - it is located in Born so you can go for a drink after the dinner. The prices are very reasonable so the overall rating of this place in my opinion should be very high. I recommend this place during the ween and on the weekends too. Good atmosphere and delicious tiramisu!

I went with several friends for dinner at Murivecchi. There was a moderate amount of people that created a good atmosphere and the tables were not cramped like many places in Barcelona. The food and service were good...not spectacular, but nothing bad to say either. The service was good. They offer a very flexible menu of the day that allowed us to share the starters and still each choose from several options for the main course. It was a good value.
