“Good location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

We stayed here on the strength of the TA reviews and because of the location, near the centre of the city. It's an easy walk from either the bus station and the rail station. We walked from the bus station with suitcases in under 15 minutes.

It's on a quiet side street, just off a main road, with some shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly enough on arrival. There are steps down to reception and although there is a lift immediately you enter the hotel, the lift doesn't seem to stop on that level.

The room wasn't huge and didn't have a very big window in the actual room, although there was one in the bathroom. This made it rather dark and not always very inviting. The room had all the usual facilities, the bathroom only had a shower, but it was a double sized waterfall type one. The decor is very dark, with lots of dark furniture, so it's stylish, but dark.

There's free wifi that actually works. There's also a supermarket on Calle Independencia and another one on Calle Dos de Mayo. The hotel is near the park and a quick walk into town. Overall, a good place to stay, especially if you get a good deal through the internet.

The hotel is at the inside very modern unlike the exterior which creates at first glance the impression that you are in the wrong place. Hotel and staff are very good and certainly meet 4 star standard. A pitty that our toom was designed for disabled, althought this only influence the bathroom. Size of the room was surprising. Location is at easy walking distance from the centre. There are several restaurants nearby. The garage is entered via an car-elevator which was big enough for my Volvo XC60 and a several other larger cars.

From the moment we arrived we knew that we had picked the right hotel. The reception staff were wonderful , in fact they could not have been more helpful. The room was terrific and the location is great. If you go to Valladolid this is the place to stay.

My husband and I had a really great stay at this hotel. It is located about a 15 mins walk from the bus station and 10 mins from the train station. It is has very modern decor which made us feel like we were in one of those make over shows where they redo a room in a house. The entrance does have a few little steps to go down but it has an elevator that they can activate. The staff was very friendly and could not do enough to help.

The room was a good size, facing a terrace and had the best rain shower. Everything about our experience with the room was worth the money we paid.

Valladolid gets some bad reviews as a city from guidebooks but I have to say that is a very nice city to visit. The buildings are really beautiful, the park has gorgeous peacocks and the sculpture museum is interesting. The tapas are very delicious especially when there is a special on (2 Euros for tapa and drink).

If I were to return to Valladolid I would stay in this hotel again as it is well located and the service was wonderful.

Conveniently located in the centre of Valladolid we make this hotel a regular stopping off visit when travelling to the uk by ferry from Santander. One of the attractions is their extremely secure parking, a bonus in a busy city. Rooms are very comfortable. Breakfast good and reasonably priced. An easy walk into the main square and the beautiful park nearby.

Fantastic hotel we found it on booking.com. I was dubious about it being so central, but it is tucked just off the main area for bars and restaurants so its quiet when you want to escape the hustle and bustle. The park is just down the road which is lovely to walk through whatever the weather. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is large and very comfortable. We will stay again on our future trips to Valladolid the only downside is that Ryan air have cancelled flights from London to here, so you would need to fly to Madrid and get a connection or the renfe or alsa bus. Or possibly go via France.
