“Great view in small town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 15, 2013

Walking from the bus stop in 10 min, the brige appeared on the way, middle of the street. It was well preserved. In Museo de Segovia, I watched video how the bridged was built.

“the Romans understood process”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 15, 2013

Arrive at a city. Understand that the big issue is water. Come up with a milennial solution. Only in Spain could a feat of engineering genius be co-opted as a religious shrine.

“Stunning piece of ancient architecture”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 11, 2013

Absolutely a must-see sight. I must say: even worth a detour if Segovia is not on your list of places to visit. Roughly 2,000 years old, constructed from large granite blocks without use of mortar, reaching over 28 metres in highest place. Amazing proof of how skilled the ancient architecs were. Only 800 meteres remained from an original aqueduct (out of approx. 15 kilometres) but it's more than enough to make your jaw dropping.

“Amazing Segovia Aquaduct”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 8, 2013

Segovia a must when you are in Spain especially in the Madrid area. It is a spine tingling experience. To think the Aquaduct was built in the 1st century and looks like it was built yesterday
Is simply amazing. Walking around the old town was fun and lunch under the Aquaduct special. Don't miss this treasure.

“Amazing”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 7, 2013

If you are in Madrid take the train up to Segovia to see the aqueduct. It's breathtaking. Only 30 minutes on the train and a short bus ride takes you right to it.
