This is a beautiful Gothic cathedral. It was the last one to be built in Spain, and it is a replica of the cathedral of Salamanca. The temple is dedicated to Mary. It has a nice museum in the inside.

Segovia's Cathedral is said to be the last of Spain's Gothic cathedrals, started in 1525 after the previous cathedral was destroyed, but then not finished until 250 years later. Its interior is beautiful, typically sumptuous in the Spanish way and at times over-the-top. We also thought the building a more manageable size to explore than some of Spain's grandest cathedrals like Burgos or Toledo. Even so, it still took us nearly an hour to see it all, including the cloisters the chapterhouse and the treasures on display on the lower levels, and without doing the tower tour, which was only available in Spanish.
It is a great monument to visit, Segovia Cathedral is the Gothic-style Roman Catholic cathedral located in the the city of Segovia, in the community of Castile-Leon, Spain. The church was built in a Gothic style in the mid-16th century. It is a must to see when you visit Madrid- Spain, as Segovia is only 20 m by train from Madrid.
The outside gothic architecture is beyond beautiful. It was only 3 euros to tour the inside which is super cheap. The inside is adorned from top to bottom with gold, paintings, statues, ornaments and more. There's a life size suffering Jesus encased in glass. Well worth the visit.
One of the great Spanish cathedrals, befitting a favorite city of royalty. Very special inside and out. The numerous side chapels have very interesting art. We missed the tower views.
