We recently stayed at this hotel for 2 nights . Found the location with no problem. The car park is situated on the left hand side of the road as you are facing the front of the hotel. It is secure parking. The room was lovely. There was a fantastic sight of the historic buildings of Salamanca from our bedroom window. Our room was spacious and clean. Breakfasts are not exciting but adequate. Queues often formed at the coffee machine. It was like a canteen atmosphere. The walk into the town was about 10 minutes. The Plaza Major is a wonderful sight especially when it is lit up at night (the lights came on at 10.00pm when we were there). Lots of cafes and restaurants to choose from the Plaza and surrounding area. Great student atmosphere - lovely "buzzy" feel to the town. All the students sit on the ground in the Plaza enjoying themselves .The hotel is in a good location for the centre. Only wished that it had a nice garden to sit in where you could unwind and relax. Would stay at the hotel again if ever we returned to Salamanca.

We stayed here for 3 nights with our 2 young children. We chose it because it was close to the Plaza Major and all the other attractions of this beautiful city.
We arrived early on a Saturday morning & the girl at the front desk very kindly let us check-in early (at no extra charge), which was a relief. We were a little concerned to see that there was a wedding being held in the reception room on the ground floor, but thought we would be OK since our room was on the 3rd floor.
The room was spacious, even with the kids' beds set up. The bathroom was also nice & big. The location is fantastic, being able to walk easily to the centre of town, restaurants, parks & playgrounds. The breakfast was also good with a great selection to cater for every need.
The down side to the room itself? No tea/coffee making facility in the room, which is rare (in my experience). The air-con did not work so it was very hot in the room. There were no tissues?! Anyone travelling with kids will know how many tissues you can go through, even when they are healthy! However the biggest problem we found was the paper thin walls... We were woken every night by people walking/running up & down the corridors & by people in the bathroom in the room next to ours. This was very frustrating.
Also, the "complimentary wireless Internet" is so slow, don't even bother trying to log into the network... If you do manage to get online, the network will soon bump you off again!
Overall, this hotel is OK. If we do travel to Salamanca again, I will probably try to find somewhere else to stay to be honest.

We choose this hotel as it was in the historic centre but also had an indoor car park (which you had to pay for). However it was worth staying in the centre as Salamanca was beautiful at night with all the buildings lighted up. The hotel was perfect, staff very friendly and the room clean. I can recommend this hotel. I didn't get a chance to use the spa or gym so can't comment on that.

Room Tip: Some rooms did have a view of the cathedrals which looked spectacular at night

Hotel located nearby the city center. Walking distance under 10 minutes. Very quiet surroundings and nice view of the old town. Very friendly reception. Late check-out fee (4pm) for 15.- Euro. No bad considering that the flight to Barcelona is at 5.10pm.....
Large double bed in my room. AC worked well! Large bath room with enough amenities. I got 24-h internet for free.
Parking available, but I used the blue zone outside. A couple of streets from there also free parking available. Spa available, but I did not use it.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the cathedral. Excellent views.

I stayed here for three days in April and was blown away by the city and the hotel. The city is just beautiful and has to be seen. The hotel is lovely, peaceful and brilliantly situated within about 10 minutes walk of the city centre (perfect, if you ask me). Some down sides though, don't waste your money on the so called premium wifi service as it just doesn't work, the free service is at least as good if not better. I paid for three days and at best got an intermittent service. That's worse than no service at all really. So definitely stay here, but save a few pennies and take the free wifi...

The Abba chain was nice enough, with a lovely location steps to the city center. Nice views off a quiet square toward the cathedral and university. All in all, not bad. Quick and professional service with wifi in the lobby. Rooms were large and well maintained.

We stayed for three nights in this lovely hotel. The room (on the 1st floor) was large and clean, with a couple of chairs and table, TV with some English news channels and a large bed. It was a bit harder than I like, but we slept well. I wished we had paid a bit more for a room on the 3rd floor with a view of the city, as that was beautifully lit up at night. Didn't have breakfast, which I thought was pricey at 12 euros, so can't comment on the food. There were plenty of cafes nearby where one could have coffee and pastries for about 5 euros for two people. It was about a 10-minute walk to the Plaza Mayor. We had a car and parked it in the hotel garage for the first two days (14 euros per day), but moved it outside on the Saturday evening when parking in the street was free.

Room Tip: Top floor with a view of the city
