My wife and I along with another couple stayed in Julia's apartment for one night as we drove from Madrid to Peso de Regua, Portugal. It was a short stay, but enjoyable. The apartment is centrally located, nicely appointed and comfortably fit the four of us. The only cautionary comment would be that there is only one shower, but it does have a gigantic tub in the master suite. We would not hesitate to stay in the apartment again, if the the opportunity presents itself.
Dealing with Julia was terrific. She was very prompt in responding to questions via email, engaged us prior to our arrival to coordinate access and met us at the apartment upon arrival. And despite a mix up in the number of people that would be staying there - we somehow booked two people, there were four - she handled it with good humor and without hesitation. She provided the name of a great restaurant for dinner (Corte y Cata near the University) and introduced us to the Salamanca website that had a number of different walks and other activities in town. So she's not only a good landlord, she's a good ambassador for the city.
Salamanca itself seems like a terrific city, with a lot of charm. It was actually one of my favorite cities on our trip.
