We stayed here in early June - it was our first stop on our way down to our house on the Costa del la Luz from Santander. We loved this hotel as it was ideally situated for all the sites of Burgos. The room was great, staff friendly, parking a great bonus. The best breakfast of our trip overland in Spain.

Can really recommend this hotel if you are touring Spain from Santander as it is only about 2 hours from the ferry port and in a really attractive city.

Room Tip: We had a room at the front overlooking the river so expect some noise if you open the window

Recently stayed here and simply could not find fault with this wonderful hotel. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful and our room was incredible. There is secure parking on site and free wifi evrywhere in the hotel. We did not eat in the hotel as there are plenty of little bars and cafes nearby and the main cathedral is a mere 10 min walk away in this charming city. I would thoroughly recommend the hotel and will hopefully stay there again next time I am in this region of Spain.

Room Tip: From what we could see they were all good and we had the best nights sleep of any hotel on this holi...

We stayed for just one night in this central (the cathedral is a minute away on foot) and well appointed hotel.
Our room was comfortable and clean and very well insulated and towards the back of the hotel overlooking a quiet square.
All the employees we met were pleasant and efficient despite the hotel being busy (there was a large wedding party).
A minor niggle is that the room was a little stuffy even with the air conditioning on.
You could hardly be more central in this elegant and well cared for city.

Stayed for one night, would have liked to have had longer. Hotel very well kept. Staff friendly. Breakfast very good indeed, well worth the extra on the room rate. Had a room facing the roof of the covered courtyard - no view, but the quietest night (and best sleep) I have had in a hotel for years.
Highly recommended.

A fairly large room (we had a "premium") with a partial cathedral view. Staff was very helpful. Convenient parking in the basement under the hotel. Close to Cathedral. A very pleasant experience overall. Recommended.

The hotel is fine - location great, rooms pretty nice. But I would never ever consider staying here again on the basis of the check in staff who were the surliest and rudest I have ever come across and certainly not fitting of a quality hotel group like NH. One member of staff was just outright rude and entirely unhelpful no matter what was asked - even though she was not serving us, she wanted to interrupt seemingly just to be unpleasant. We fared better than the people who were checking out beside us though: they had documentation showing that their room rate included breakfast - this member of staff insisted that they could not leave without paying for it. Whatever NH made in breakfast fee, they lost in brand equity for anyone that witnessed this overly pushy behaviour. Such a shame given that the hotel is otherwise a good choice.

Going to sleep in a formerly cloister makes one feel in sync with history. The hospitality here made our stay in the charming town of Burgos a delight. What a great breakfast to start the day. An easy walk into the historic center of the city. Should have spent more time her.
