The room was small. When we asked for help, the first person was somewhat snotty but eventually showed concern. He left and when we needed help, the second person could do nothing. An unfortunate experience. If you're just staying for a night to see the obvious, use it, but don't expect a lot.

Room tip: Spend a little more and get a place with parking.

I really regret that your experience was negative. Actually, I can not understand what your complaint is. The size of the room? Could we not or did we not want to help you ?. It's all so ambiguous!

However, you should note that not everyone considers our hotel bad, as you can read in the rest of reviews, although it should be also noted for future visitors that our rooms are not especially large .... from 12 to 14 m2

Thanks for your comments. Greeting

This hotel is located just outside the old city of Toledo, which you get at via an escalator. It is less than a 5 minute walk to the Plaza Zocodover. The hotel itself its charming, somewhat quirky, and lovingly cared for by its owners. The room was small but comfy and clean, cheerfully decorated. The bed was a double on a foam mattress or mattress pad but fairly comfy. Nice view of Toledo from the balcony although too small to use. Good bathroom - roomy and updated. Room safe included. View is high and over the street. No in room facilities other than wifi, though there was a fridge. Nice breeze with windows open and curtains drawn for privacy. Some street noise at night, very noisy party out late the night we were there. Very helpful staff, can call taxi for airport or train/bus station in less than 5 minutes. Would stay there again.

Room tip: Beautiful view overlooking Toledo although can be noisy at night

I spent one night at this hotel after reading a review in the Sydney Morning Herald.

My room was small with a view over the town, but provided everything I needed in comfort. The area is very quiet. It was a real plus to have the escalators to the old town just a short walk away. Breakfast was adequate and the staff were always helpful and obliging, and provided good information.

This hotel is an excellent location. It is about 2 minutes from the escalator that takes you up to the main square in the old town. The service was excellent and the owner very helpful. The rooms are extremely comfortable and warm which wS welcome considering we were there in winter.

Yeah. It was really cold in Toledo those dates. Is it you the Australian lady that saw the snow for the first time?, haaaha!.

I´m really satisfied to read that your stay with us was successful and our staff did their best to make you feel at home.

Best regards from all of us!

One of our favourite hotels in one of our favourite cities inSpain. The value for money is superb and having a coffee machine in the room (Reward for our second visit) was a bonus. The staff can't do enough.
The staff themselves have invested personally in the hotel and provide excellent customer service.
The hotel is situated close to the old town and over the road from the hotel is an escalator avoiding the steep climb.
If you can't find a parking space outside of the hotel then there is underground parking past the hotel up the hill and across the road. To the side of the car park entrance is the escalator.
Please note that if you park outside of the hotel you will need to feed the meter downhill from the hotel to obtain a ticket. Only put in enough money to cover the time shown on the meter.
We will return

Really happy to have met you again with us at the Medina, and still happier at the thought that you will come back in the future. Your review is really generous to us and does not need any type of replay from me as you explained really well all details about the Medina for future visitors.

Greetings from the team!
