“Good views from towers”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 11, 2014

We didn't intend to come here during our visit, but dropped by as we were walking in the area. Entry is available either by ticket or as part of a multi entry card. It isn't well advertised and wasn't in any of our guidebooks. The walk up to the towers is fine, with metal stairs going around the inside of the tower. It is bolted on, as a previous reviewer has said, so it might not appeal to people of a nervous disposition. The views are good from the top, so it is worth the climb. You do get to see the choir stalls and organ upstairs too, complete with drinks vending machine......

The rest of the church is fine, rather unstated in some ways, but nice enough. Overall, worth dropping by to see somewhere that does feel off the tourist trail.

“A good view over the city”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 26, 2013

If you visit the church, definitely go to the top of the twin towers - there's a wonderful view over the center of the city. Not as good as at Mirrador del Valle, but still worth it.

“Hidden gem with unbelievable views”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 11, 2013

We didn't find this in our guidebook, but we visited it after the concierge recommended it and were so glad we did. Amazing, 360 degree views of the city. I cannot recommend it more highly.

“Best Views in Town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 26, 2013

A tragic history to the building or more the Jesuits who built it. An enormous and beautifully detailed altar and some interesting architecture. Lets face it - most people go here for the views over the city and you will not be disappointed. Can get a bit crowded up there and found it was a little better later in the day. 2.50 Euro entry and I went twice! :)
No lift and the staircase up the inside of the towers is literally bolted to the open wall - so if you have vertigo, you may wish to go with a friend!

“excellent views”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 11, 2013

I stumble upon this church while walking along the numerous alleys and paths in toledo. Love the exterilr architecture so decided to explore more of it.
You pay 2.50 euro in order to climb the up the tower for a bird eye view of toledo. It was certsinly worth it due to the excellent views of the city, you can see most of the landmarks eg cathedral etc..
Dont miss this little gem, its a good thing it is not very crowded as well.
