I was lucky and there were only 6 others with me for a while. The church is modest but very interesting. The upper walkways are ideal for shots of the inner courtyard.

As stated by an earlier reviewer, this is a small attraction and can be covered in 45min. Never-the-less, it is well worth the admission price, and the fairly long walk over from Zocodover Square. It is a place where you need to look carefully at the detail and then you will see some really exquisite masonry and carvings. One can only marvel at the intricate detail and the amount of work that must have gone into these carvings. Also amazing is the marquetry ceiling in the galleries around the cloisters. Definitely a place of quality rather than quantity..

Loved the cloisters as they were very peaceful, even with all the school trips

For the 2.5 euro price I certainly expected much more. The monastery visit is only one patio with two levels to view it from. You cannot enter the center garden area... the gothic architecture is pretty, but on par with the vast number of gothic sites in this part of spain. You can enter the church for free, which is more interesting. Only pay the 2.5 if you absolutely NEED to have another small serving of gothic work.

We loved slowly wandering around this lovely cloistered building after the heat and bustle of the city.
