“Isolated but ok”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2013

An isolated and moderately decorated hotel. Located on a hill. An average size room with wood flooring. Although, it's clean the bed is not so comfortable specially with a small and limp pillow. Bathroom is not that lavish. In room wifi is a plus. Only two staffs at Front desk and only one during evening. We are with a big group so checking in will take a couple of minutes.

One evening, one of our friend got a problem with her card key, she can not enter her room. So the reception staff which is alone at that time went to her room and fix the door by herself leaving her post. At that time, we wish to buy a souvenir from a display at the lobby, since there are no shops beside the hotel. So we have to wait for so long for the reception personnel to go back to her post since she is fixing the door by herself.

Breakfast is ok, but it was a chaos. The buffet area, is so congested and hotel guests are running out of food. Refilling took a while, Cups and glasses are running short. Coffee maker are malfunctioning. But compliment to one of their food server, even it was a chaos, He always smile and gladly assist the guest.

Toledo is a nice historical city and is worth seeing.

I'm impressed with the lobby, cleanliness of lobby toilet and most of all free wifi that has good signal through your room. The room is clean with wooden floor which is good for anyone who has allergy. The bathroom is clean with reliable, accurate hot and cold water (not like some other hotels which sometimes water is hot, sometimes turns cold...AH! The hotel staff is nice with effort to solve your problems. Hotel maid were pleased to bring you everything you need. The breakfast is good with adequate menu to serve you. But the bed was not comfy, the blanke is too thin so I had to ask for another one which is thicker and softer and very important for me is no bed bug come with it...very good. The room has A/C with can warm you room as well so I am not so cold with 2-6 degree during the night. The location is not far from histori sights and on high floor you can overlook the view of old time. So... better than expectation!

Friendly business hotel located on a hill with great views. Breakfast was good. Lots of tour groups though. And, beds were hard--very hard!

Computers in the lobby were free and worked well. WiFi was also available. Not located near any great restaurants, but the walking in Toledo is always a pleasure.

Friendly staff and good clean hotel. Food was not particularly good but it was Sunday evening and serviced by few staff. Secure parking is always a bonus and all in all good value for money. The location was ok and we were able to see the town from the windows in the hotel.

We stayed at the hotel towards the end of a driving tour of Spain in October. The hotel itself is ok. Location is about 2 km from the old town which me knew before booking and had no problem walking. However, the room was ridiculously hot. It was on the sunny side of the hotel and with the sun beating down onto the glass it reached nearly 30 degree in the room. No problem of course as they have air conditioning but although they do have air conditioning it appears they don't bother turning it on out of summer regardless of the weather. We did complain about the fact the room was a sauna and was told it was an error with the air conditioning setting and had been fixed....sadly this was either a misinformed receptionist or a bare face lie...we will never know.

We stayed in this hotel for a couple nights. 20minutes walk to the gates of the old town, or if you want to bus it 3 minutes’ walk to the bottom of the road for the bus stop. Spacious room and bath room both very clean and comfortable. Larg window opening to the small road outside but very quiet. A very small but welcoming swimming pool for HOT August days (pool towels provided). Fantastic breakfast hot, cold, fruits, juices and yogurt. Fast WIFI in your room. The only issue is car parking outside, it is cheap (about a euro per/H) paying times are between 10AM 6to 2 PM and I think 5 PM to 8 PM. Weekdays. Alternatively pay 9 euro and park in their Garage. Anyhow at EUR119.13 for two nights mid-august I don’t think it was a bad deal (plus 9 euro for one night parking)

The hotel was very comfortable, clean and the staff was very nice. The first time we took the bus to the historic center or town but we it only cost 4 euro to take the taxi which was actually cheaper than the bus since it cost about 1 1/2 euro each. There is a pool in the hotel although we didn't make time to see it. This year turned out to be the hottest June on record in the last 100 years so we were baking but once we were in the hotel we never had problems with the A/C. I didn't love the wood paneling but that's a style preference and we weren't there to check out the room all day.
