We found a little bar on the right just as you come into the square from hotel alfonso V1, the Spanish man who runs it is very friendly and we all spent our evenings there during the week.

Good place to visit to feel the vibe of this town and people watch. It's the place where you can board the Zoco train to see the city.

The center of Toledo is the Plaza de Zocodover. It used to be the site of the old Arab market. Part of it was designed by Juan de Herrera during the reign of King Felipe II. The plaza has many restaurants and bars where you can eat. It is a good place to people watch because there is so much movement of people walking around the plaza.

This is just another plaza, an oddly shaped one. Nice for people watching, with good coffeestores and ice cream parlours nearby. There are quite a few places to sit, and it tends to attract quite a lot of tour groups which treat the place like a meeting point.

I wouldn't deliberately visit to this plaza on it's own. However, it is in a location with a lot of side street shops, and I certainly wouldn't mind stopping by at the Zocodover for 15 minutes, slowly licking my ice cream and people watching.
