I went here to see the painting by El Greco, "The Burial of the Count of Orgaz". I cannot comment on the church itself, because this is the attraction I saw. It is truly remarkable, and worth paying the entrance to go and see. Just be forewarned, that like others have stated, it can get busy. The day that I went, there were a LOT of people. So many, in fact, that they were staggering the visitors, as they would only allow a certain amount of people in the room that houses El Greco's masterpiece (which is a small room that can fit maybe 75 people). You will eventually get up close to the painting, but don't expect to be able to stay there more than a few minutes (when it's busy), because there are more people behind you waiting for their turn to see the painting. Also, they don't allow pictures/ cameras and are really strict about it, so be sure to put your camera away before going in.
