“Closed?”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 2, 2014 via mobile

I came to visit on 2nd Feb and it seems to be being renovated...? I asked a few people but my Spanish is almost non-existent so could not find out how long it would be closed for.
I had to give it a rating in order to post this... But obviously I saw nothing.

“Not very interesting”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 6, 2013

We came there by chance but as it was free to enter so we checked it. Not much to see inside, but the interior architecture was pleasant with some high arches. Few exhibits but no information in English, only some Spanish. You can also climb the tower but the view to the city is spoiled by nets (against pigeons). The guy from the staff was not the most friendly one.

“A very poorly-laid museum.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 24, 2013

This free museum is hardly a museum.
It seems more like a deserted church (San Roman).
With very few exhibits, hardly any explanations in English, this is one very poorly-laid museum to skip.

“Free Museum”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 8, 2013

This is one of three free museums in Toledo. It is an ancient building, with some interesting frescos and an old altar. There is not much here and will take one a few minutes to look around and move on to more interesting sites.

“Visigoth and Mozarabic”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 18, 2012

This is a church converted into a museum. The museum is rather dull, and I couldn´t bring up any enthusiasm for the exhibits (artefacts from Roman and Visigoth Toledo). However, the church itself is rather special; a 12th c. building in the Mozarabic style, with horse-shoe arches and frescoes of saints on the walls. This museum is free of charge, and doesn´t take long to visit, so it is absolutely worth a quick look inside on your Toledo stroll.
