Tucked away behind one of Toledo’s labyrinthine streets, the San Roman Church provides an excellent example of 13th century Mudéjar architecture. It has a beautiful interior with high-quality frescos.

It’s not very large, but is well worth a few moments of anyone’s time.

Not a big church, but like the Mezquita in Cordoba, it combines Moorish influences and Christian decorations. Worth a visit.

This church is on the top of the highest hill in Toledo that has a great park across the street. It is not a part of the wristband attractions but was only like 2 Euros per person. It is a great example of Christian Church using Muslim themes and architecture. Our guide wanted us to see this so she good better explain things in Toledo and the mudejar theme of design. It was very pretty and enjoyable to see the Muslim arches as well as other decoration. Also from many other views of the city you can see this steeple and bell tower because of the hill it is built on. While not the Cathedral or wristband site, I recommend you visit if you have the time and you are not afraid of a big hill.

This is a European touch but with a touch of middle east. You can never ignore the intricate works allover inside and outside the church.
