The church had very few church or mosque items. The museum of visigoth culture was a bit puzzling. It told me very little about visigoth culture, and only had a large collection of artefacts that were apparently visigothic, without explanation what made them Visigothic (and not, f.i. Iberian or Roman). The nice part was that we could climb the tower (and that it was free..)

If, like us, you are fond of the art of the Visigoths this must not be missed as you will see lots of examples of their lovely low-relief stone carvings as well as smaller artefacts. But the church itself is charming and has striking mediaeval murals (we passed on the tower, having wonky knees). Admission is covered by the Toledo Bracelet scheme

Thought we'd check it out since it was free. Was really impressed by the drawings on the walls, the lovely alter, the windows and arches. Lots to see. Not too crowded. Also had a tower we could climb with a view of the city...not the best view, but still nice (despite the wire preventing us from taking decent pics).

I did visit all the churches that came with the 8 euros bracelet, and no one is better than this modest, free entrance little one. The walls are covered with very old fresques, you can see some visigoth artwork exposed, and climb up a bell tower to get great views on Toledo. What more to ask?
