Went to El Embrujo based on reviews already on TA and was not let down this bar was fantastic full of locals eating and drinking great tapas great wine Adrian the owner was amazing working so hard never waited more than a minute to be served always with a tapas his son realised we were English and spoke to us helping out when my spanish wasn't quiet up to it, we ordered some calamares and patatas bravas of the main menu the calamares was the biggest I've ever seen and so tasty as was the patatas bravas. When it was time for us to leave we thought it might cost us an arm and a leg how wrong were we it was the best drink meal of our weeken in toledo and our cheapest meal, when in Toledo you must go to El Embrujo you wont regret this was 5 star service and food.

I had lunch in El Embrujo on Feb 11. It is a good decision after reading tripadvisor. The foods are very good in the local atmosphere. And the service is also very friendly. If you go to Toledo, I definitely recommend this tapas bar.

We sought this bar out after reading the review on trip advisor and we weren't disappointed. A little hard to find but not impossible. Adrian the owner is a character and it is very typically Spanish, we enjoyed tapas and canas at the bar, we were hoping for a table but they were so busy there was a line of people waiting for tables! Very busy and obviously a favourite with the locals.

We had a very enjoyable lunch we shared a lobster starter and I mean share unless you are a team of footballers!! Main course was duck and venison both very nicely cooked with a bottle of La Mancha wine delicious and good service. No room for desert after this so ended on an espresso 50 euro for 2 on a lovely sunny day. Just perfect.

Easy to get to as it is near the top of one of the escalators into town. The staff were wonderful: friendly and ready to guide you if you needed help. We shared several different raciones all of which were superb being fresh and delicious. The best was a pork stew called Magro-the name meaning thin- being ironic given the amount we ate of it! The place was heaving but felt jolly and relaxed and the waiters were so patient given how hard they were working. A brilliant place.
