Last minute decision as other portion of our vacation disrupted. Few rooms available that weekend at other Toledo hotels. Very nice hotel, front desk staff super friendly and helpful. Cafeteria staff seemed blasé about service. Room was nice. It is a 30 min hike to San Martin bridge from hotel. Ten minute cab ride. Make restaurant dinner reservations asap if staying. Breakfast buffet pricey.

This parador is one of the hotels placed to enjoy a view, and this is one of the best. Most if not all rooms have great views of Toledo. Bedrooms are pleasant with balcony’s. The parador is quite a way out of town (a drive away), so it is good that the restaurant is beautifully decorated with a strong menu.

My wife and I stayed at Parador de Toledo for four nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable, the rooms have nice balconies, the view towards Toledo is outstanding and it comes with a great swimming pool. Some rooms have a great view towards Toledo, ours was pretty good, but from the cafe/patio it is pretty magical. The only thing that keeps my rating from being a 5 star is some deferred maintenance that needs to be taken care of - our bathroom could have used some touch up paint and the carpet on the steps leading to the pool is worn - and the fact that the patio isn't open in the morning/early afternoon. All in all not that bad. And it isn't a historical building if that is why you're visiting Paradors.

Looking at this Parador on one of the websites indicated that breakfast was included. That was definitely not the case during our stay and in fact, it was pretty pricey at 19 Euro - we opted for other options in Toledo.

Room Tip: 1st floor rooms open directly to the pool area, which could be a safety concern, but they are more convenient to the pool.

Well the Albatross tour left the best for last. The Parador in Toledo is up high above the city, with great views all around. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The entry is probably better than the rooms. The hotel is built on four levels with most rooms having a good view. The food is good and the car park spacious. There are better hotels with 4 stars but not many with great views.

Set high on a hill with a dramatic view of Toledo, a very welcoming and comfortable Parador. Reception is efficient, our room was large and well furnished including a king size four-poster bed. Bathroom was large too, everything extremely clean. Outside is a proper swimming pool, deep and spacious enough to swim laps (approx 25m long) with a grassy area and sun-loungers. First floor level has a terrace where drinks can be enjoyed while posing in front of the city panorama. Restaurant has a good selection of local specialities - we dined very well at reasonable cost. Taxi into city costs about 10euro.

Room Tip: Rooms close by the pool if you are a swimmer
