As everyone says the view is what makes this place. Dinner on the terrace as night descended on Toledo was great and the food wasn't bad either. We walked into town in the day which took a leisurely 30 mins and got a taxi back which cost 10 euros. It is a steep hill!
The service was good and efficient, especially at breakfast where they kept things replenished and cleared away quickly.
Staff were very helpful when I stupidly left something behind in the room safe, posting it on to our next hotel.
The pool looked inviting but we never got around to having a dip. Towels were available poolside though and those people who did take the plunge seemed to enjoy it.

As previous TA reviewers noted, the main reason to stay here is certainly the view - one of the best experiences of our Spain trip! The Parador is very nice, recently renovated and the balcony view merits the upgrade to a room with a view. The pool was very nice as well, particularly after a trip to the city in the scorching heat. We also had dinner on the terrace, and the menu was very nice (did I mention the view?).

The whole reason to stay here is the view! We had a room with the balcony overlooking Toledo and there is nothing like enjoying a glass of wine watching the sun set with that view in front of you. It did not seem real, but more like you were looking at a postcard..breathtaking and very romantic! That being said, the rooms are average-nice sized, nice bathroom, but nothing special. The downside is the location, which is great for views, but a distance from all the tourist areas. You will need to take taxis wherever you go.

We also had dinner in their restaurant, which did not open until 8:30. The food was good, but nothing exceptional. There is a view of Toledo all lit up that makes up for the average food. Service was very good both at dinner and breakfast. Breakfast was included and very good.

We stayed one night here and one night at AC Ciudad de Toledo just down the road. For about half the price, the AC hotel has better staff, equal rooms and an almost as good view.
This is a good, 4-5 star hotel, the highlights being dinner (pricey, ok but not great service) and the pool area/lawn.
