We choose this hotel just because it's the No.1 in Toledo on tripadvisor. We pay 166 EURO for the young people get away package for a room with terrace.

When we open the door to the terrace, it's wholly a big surprise. What a beautiful scene. Most important, we can enjoy this view from sunset to the evening and then to the sunrise of next morning.

The room is spacious and clean with nice wooden floor. The toilet and the shower is seperated. There are free wifi inside the room and a plenty of choice in the mini bar. You can enjoy a drink on your privat terrace together with the nice view. The only thing is that I prefer a king size bed instead of 2 beds put together.

Another surprise is the hotel's breakfast. There are lot of choice for the breakfast. It's happy to see many typicall Spanish tapas served at the breakfast.

There's a small mountain beside the hotel without official climbing road. But you can easily climb onto the top and have another nice view.

All in all, love this hotel. It's a pity that we only stay 1 night......

Room Tip: Don't hesitate, choose the room with terrace and you'll not regret for paying a little bit more

You should know when you choose this hotel that you will not be in town, in the middle of the action. Which means traveling by car is straight forward, easy on the GPS and a low stress approach. The parking is right beside the hotel in a safe, though uncovered lot...very convenient unless its raining. Views of Toledo from balconies here are plentiful and inspiring and romantic at sunset. There are plenty of groomed lawns and lounge chairs on property and people are dispersed reading and resting. Many of the rooms have balconies which are close to each other, lacking privacy but very roomy and enticing with comfortable chairs and protected rooftops. Hard to read and keep to yourself you will need to acknowledge your neighbors and embrace the views as a collective group. The rooms were very comfortable. Roomy bedrooms with oversized twin beds and extra pillows, nice sheets and comforters, tastefully decorated. The bathroom was modern and easy to use, the towels were thick, the water pressure was great. I really like the parador grape shampoo and cream products. The pool had just closed when we stayed here Oct 7th...they said we could use it at our own risk but it had just been treated with chlorine (?) and there were white powder particles edging the bottom that turned us off. It is a beautiful pool and I bet its terrific in season. Even if you don't have a view from your personal balcony there are expansive public areas to view the cityscape.

Room Tip: photos are from room #215

We went to this hotel because it was a Parador and we expected it to be good. It was wonderful. Eating lunch on the terrace overlooking the old town was an experience we won't forget.

spacious, comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast/buffet one of the bests I've found in the world....amazing views of Toledo old town....we visited it in November so could not use the swimming pool but it looks fantastic too, would suggest you get room 313 if you can, you get to see parts of the old town from your room without paying an extra charge like rooms in the fourth floor......a bit pricey but well worth the money. Only thing is that it is an 8 minutes drive from Toledo's old town so you need a car to visit Toledo (although the Parador offers a bus service).

Room Tip: we stayed in room 313 you get to see part of the old town from your room without paying the extra charge of rooms in the 4th floor (which is also above the bar, so not too sure if it is quiet enough).....if you want a queen bed make sure you book well in advance they dont have many queen beds, they do have a lot of rooms with twin beds though.

We chose the Toledo Parador very recently for three main reasons:
Were were arriving quite late from Madrid Airport
We had heard that Toledo is a difficult place by car
The Parador rated highly in Tripadvisor, especially the views of the city.
This turned out to be an inspired choice. After a long day in Morocco and a late flight to Madrid followed by negotiating Madrid motorways by night it was a true blessing to be able to just turn into the carpark and walk to the door.
After a friendly and efficient greeting we took our bags up (no porters I'm afraid) and entered our room. The view was absolutely stunning (after 9pm by now). Over the next two days we spent hours looking at that view. Pure magic!
The room was large, clean and well appointed, opening out onto the small (and not at all private) balcony.
The only other part of the hotel we used was the dining room where we had two of the best dinners we've had in years. We had local specialities, roast suckling lamb and venison, both were superb. The night wait staff were lovely. Not a word of English to be had but easy communication with smiling, pointing and our very rough few words of Spanish. Our dinner reservation made more than two months earlier was sitting there in the book ready to be ticked.
The only letdown was that the breakfast room was understaffed and getting coffee and special orders was more difficult than it really should have been.
All in all the Parador Toledo was an excellent experience we would recommend to anyone.
Toledo was cool too.

Room Tip: We asked for a room with a view to the city, which was provided. This is vital to get full value from the stay. Also, we used one of their packages which gave breakfast for free.
