“Loved this hotel”

I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and how modern the bathroom was. The room was very clean, and the staff was friendly. I had an excellent dinner across the street and at another restaurant a short walk away. Although it is at the edge of the city, it was still easy to get anywhere I wanted. My room faced a small park and the river, so I had a nice view. Even with the doors and shutters closed, I could hear some traffic noise in the early morning from the street right outside. It was not a problem for me, but could be for light sleepers. A room elsewhere in the hotel would likely be quieter.

We stayed a night in this Hotel with my fiance back in September and we loved it, wee thought it was cozy and quaint. The location was amazing, walking distance from the Christian, Jew and Muslim part of town. Perfect to be walking around the beautiful city of Toledo!

We were not realy aware that we were paying such a low fee for such a nice room! That was really a pleasant surprise, and we've been offered a guided walk tour in the evening and a tasteful glass of local wine in the bar of the hotel itself.
The room was extremely comfortable and large, air-con was silent and perfectly working; bathroom large and perfecty equipped: Receptionist very efficient and friendly; helpful in calling for a taxi as well as taking care of the luggage. Definitely a place I would consider for a second stop!

Spent 2 fabulous June days in Toledo and loved the El Greco hotel and everything about Toledo. It was quaint and gave the flavor of the town of Todelo. The location was convenient to all of the sites (need to like to walk). The room was adequate and we spent little time there. The nearby restaurants were good and the staff was helpful.
The city is a must see and the El Greco is a very good starting point. Well worth while. Take the mini train tour of the city.

Room Tip: Don't take room near elevator

Hotel Pintor El Greco is most tastefully decorated, combining preserved old parts with new amenities. The location has its pro's and con's: it is easy to reach by car or taxi cab, close to the El Greco Museum and the synagogues, but the rest of town is a steep climb from this relatively low point. What I found disappointing was the arrogant attitude of the staff. They never greeted or took notice of us upon coming and going, even upon departure. The rooms are beautifully furnished but the walls are rather thin. You heard every conversation next door and even the vending machines humming in the hallway.

We spent a weekend at the hotel and we really enjoyed it. Ok, it's true that we paid for a standard double room and we got a superior instead so in that sense we were very lucky. We got a room with jacuzzi which of course we did not expect so we took it as a gift :) The interiors were really nice and the the staff friendly. About the location it was superb, you just need to find a parking for the car and enjoy the beauty of the city. We would certainly recommend it.

Stayed two nights in Toledo at the Pintor El Greco. The common areas are quite lovely and fresh, with modern touches combined with historic charm. We were in a bottom level (basement?) room that was cozy and quiet (made for great sleeps) but a bit small and with no views and no wifi available. Hotel location is quite good, though it is a 10 minute walk uphill to most things including restaurant options. Drinks in the bar were particularly memorable...a gin and tonic with thin slices of cucumber and pink peppercorns in a generous glass was a big hit. Breakfast was a bit more limited than in other hotels we stayed in, though certainly adequate. Special jacuzzi tub was quite a treat after hot hot days. All in all, a very nice stay and would certainly return.

Room Tip: Rooms seem to vary quite a bit in size and features...we only learned this on our last day. 00 level...
